John Madden qualified as a Professional Groomer in 1992 and began his career in The Ark Veterinary Clinic in Galway City. Regarded as one of the leading veterinary practices in Ireland John gained invaluable experience in all pet health issues over the next ten years. John and Valerie decided to form the Dog Company in 2007. The Dog Company strives to excel in all areas of pet care and no stone is left unturned when it comes to the comfort and care pets receive during their time at The Dog Company.

Our state of the art Grooming Equipment and Parlour offer the highest level of comfort for both animals and workers alike. The Dog Company also assess each pet for health issues during their visits and can provide an information sheet to take to your vet should your pet require attention.
